NBP has now emerged as the leading institution for promotion of sports in the country. It serves social aspect of the community by contributing good, healthy environment, providing sports facilities, conducting sports events and patronizing talented sportsmen. A Committee of the Board for Sports and Culture was constituted to ensure that the desired results are achieved.

Sports has found due place in our record which dates back to 1954 when NBP cricket team was formed locally, By the year 1966, Bank had established teams of Cricket, Hockey, Football and other sports were also getting patronage.

For the management of NBP sports activities, a Sports Department has been set-up in 1974 that became precedence for other financial institutions, thus setting up the tempo for a big Sport upsurge in the country. These measures not only helped to raise the general standard of various games in Pakistan but also diverted the attention of our youth to take part in healthy and something more creative activities.

To promote sports at grass root level, Sports wing has organized events of various games in collaboration with local associations in various part of the country.

In full awareness of its commitment to the society, NBP has constructed a world class cricket ground and a state of the art sports complex on 5.5 acres of land located in the vicinity of Clifton Karachi .

This sports complex comprises of a cricket ground, cricket pavilion, cricket academy, International standard squash courts, indoor tennis, badminton, covered swimming pool, snooker, table tennis and a well equipped health club is all available in this sports complex. PCB enlisted the ground as a first class cricket venue. These facilities will be available to NBP employees, their families, local residents and the general public on charges.
