The Cardiology & Coronary care Unit of GMC Hospital Sukkur was established in 1995. Since then no new equipment was purchased to replace the old and obsolete  machines,  as a result Doctors  were unable to treat heart patients in emergency and    they had no option but  to refer the Patients to  Karachi and Hyderabad which cause additional burden on the poor families. To overcome the situation, Bank took the initiatives and upgraded Cardiac Unit of Civil Hospital and provided necessary  Medical equipment which includes Defibrillators, ETT Machine, Echo Machine, Monitoring System and Fowler Patients beds . The DCO  Sukkur and local media Lauded NBP efforts.   

Medical camp at Gaddani Village of Lasbela Division was organized by NBP CSR Division,  During the camp about 300 patients, most of them women and children were provided free consultancy and medicines. Transport arrangements for elderly patients from their villages to the camp and back was also made by the bank.      

Medical camp at Winder Village of Lasbela Division was arranged by the bank. The majority of population living in most difficult conditions with no civil amenities. 5 Doctors including Lady Doctors examine the about 450 patients, most of them women and children were provided free consultancy  and medicines.
