How to Send / Recieve Funds in Pakistan

National Bank of Pakistan makes the task of transferring funds back to Pakistan as simple for you as possible. For information on how to send funds to Pakistan & the requirements, please see the below depending on the preferred mode of fund transfer.

Note: Requirements may vary depending on the country of origin


How to Send Funds?

Please visit your nearest correspondent (bank or exchange company) and provide the following:

  • Valid photo ID (ID/ Passport / Driving License)
  • Beneficiary's valid information

The payment will be available to collect free of charge by beneficiary at any of NBP’s 1470+ branches.

Please note, you don’t need to have any account with NBP to receive payment.


How to Recieve Funds?

To receive your funds, please visit your nearest NBP branch with the following details:

  • Unique reference number (Global ID)
  • Expected amount of payment
  • Correct Sender & Receiver Name
  • Valid photo ID (CNIC / Passport / Driving License)
  • Name of the remitting Country
  • Telephone/Cell Number


Bank Transfer?

It is simple to remit money to your beneficiary's account at National Bank of Pakistan or any other bank account in Pakistan through our correspondents in minutes and that too free of charge*. Please visit your nearest correspondent (bank or exchange company) and provide the following:

  • Valid photo ID (ID/Passport/Driving License)
  • NBP branch name/code OR Beneficiary Bank Name and its branch name/code
  • IBAN/Account Number of your Beneficiary
